I finally got a chance to listen to the recording (well, some of it, haven't quite finished yet!) and I love it!

Thank you so much for doing this - your voice is very lyrical and it suits the story really well. I'm honoured!

Thank you! I'm happy you like it! I had a lot of fun recording it. My love for this fic has grown even more in the process. (And reading first person POV really is different and kind of cool.)

I suppose there aren't many first person POV fics in this fandom, so it would make a change! I think it sounds lovely, and I'm thrilled that this fic (one of my personal favourites, in fact) has received such love and attention. ♥

I don't think it's just the rarity of first person POV in SPN fic. It's the fact that it's easier (for me) to connect with the narrator's POV if the narrator is an actual person. That makes reading "with feeling" (uh, how the hell else could I put that?!) that much more natural and fun.
It's strange -- I usually don't much enjoy reading, as in *just reading*, first person POV. I don't even remember why I made an exception for this fic, I'm just glad I did. I'm not surprised it's your own favorite. It's different, and different is usually a good thing and something to be proud of. :-)
